There are also a few kissing scenes, but they are very tame and undetailed. Rated: Mild. There are a few mild swears in this book, as well as a few fight scenes and vague references to gore. Ruby Red is exciting and has an interesting take on time travel itself. She acts her age (16), but I wasn’t annoyed by her, which is a real compliment to the author. Gwen is spunky and believable as a character. It just wasn’t as important as reading this book. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth who in the middle of class takes a sudden. This book starts out a little slow, but by the time things picked up I couldn’t seem to find the time to eat.
